Visiting Family

Liora is visiting family and is touching a vase on the floor with cotton ball flowers. So her dad asks her to stop touching.
Ok, but she aks :
"-But Papa, what is this ?
- It's to decorate.
- Well, it's not really pretty..."

New Bed

We bought Liora a new bed... a toddler bed.
For a few weeks we had been preparing her... "you're gonna get a big girl bed, a big bed"
So after I built it, she looks at it, and says "well you said I was gonna have a big bed..."
I don't understand and I say "well there it is..."
She looks towards our bedroom and our queen size bed and says "well it's not so big, you know"

Missing you

I left on sunday night for a week long business trip. On the phone with Liora on Thursday, she says to me : "You know maman, I haven't seen you in a very long time... I didn't see you yesterday, and yesterday, and yesterday..."

Papy is the best

Liora looks at her grandmother very seriously and says "You know I really love Papy... He's the one who buys the candies"

Subway

Liora is not behaving in the subway so I say : " Should I get upset ? Do you want to be punished ?"
Not really worried, she looks around and says : "well... there's nowhere to put me in time out here" ("Ya pas de coin ici")
